Reporting to the General Manager, the Head of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for the following:

• Enhancing customer and distributor engagement through on-going value addition programs and relationship management


• Achieving sales and margin targets


• Establishing new distribution channels


• Long term growth in sales and margin (4 year Long Range Plan)


• People Management including employee engagement, policies and procedures, training etc


• Managing working capital (inventory, collections)

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
•Master of Business Administration (preferred)
•10 -12 years of successful sales experience of industrial products to manufacturing industries in East Africa
•Experience in managing a sales team for at least 4 years
•Experience in distributor Sales Management
•Experience in marketing and promotion (preferred)
•Experience delivering Strategic Customer Management (preferred)
