Role Summary/Purpose: GE Power & Water provides customers with a broad array of power generation, energy delivery and water process technologies to solve their challenges locally
Essential Responsibilities: -Support growth, development and implementation of all product lines
-Provide Mechanical support/resolution for LMS100, LM6000, LM5000, and LM2500 fleet issues in MEATI or where required (package and gas turbine)
-Energize and support customer problem resolution through preparation and delivery of PCB technical documents
-Oversee technical Installation & Commissioning activities
Ensuring timely and accurate customer support via use of Service Now
-Respond to internal and external customer requests for technical issue resolution relating to gas turbine using technical product knowledge and analytical skills while adhering to sound
Engineering principles, standards, practices, procedures.
-Escalate issues as required acting as the liaison between the field and design engineering to drive specific technical resolution and to help engineering identify, drive corrective actions
-Partner with the Services Engineering teams and interface with external and internal suppliers to facilitate the logistical implementation of Fleet technical solutions
Qualifications/Requirements: -BS degree or above in a Mechanical or equivalent technical discipline
-Minimum of 2-4 years of gas turbine technology experience, preferably at least 1 of product line LM6000, LM2500, LMS100
-Functional knowledge/experience of Gas turbine operation
-Demonstrated ability to represent GE in customer communications
-Demonstrated ability to work with a cross-functional team in a global environment
-Proven record of responsiveness in offering disposition to various stakeholders (regional/global) including customer, CPM, design/repair COE
-Willing to work off hours and weekends to support emergency issue resolution
-Fluency in English & Turkish, ability to communicate with local customers & suppliers

Desired Characteristics: -Commercial sensitivity with a focus on power generation industry customer needs-Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems-Self-starter, ability to work in remote environment with regional/global teams; demonstrated interpersonal skills-Strong verbal and written communication skills-proven troubleshooting skills-Experience working with analyzing field data and information, controls/electrical domain-Green Belt or Black Belt certified (GE Employees Only)
