Role Summary/Purpose: The Angola Localization Leader will be responsible for managing all aspects of Angolanization process for all GE O&G businesses in Angola. The successfully candidate shall establish and maintain effective relations with key internal function as well as external stakeholders in Angola including our direct customers and government agencies such as ANIP and the Ministry of Finance.
Essential Responsibilities: - Formulate and lead the implementation of the GE O&G Angolanization strategy
- Structure and implement a robust stakeholder management strategy for ANIP and the Ministry of Finance
- Coordinate and lead the preparation of project level Angolanization plans for inclusion in project tender submissions as well as taking the lead during the negotiation and contract execution phase.
- Provide day to day support to GE O&G commercial and projects teams in the interpretation and actioning of Angolanization requirements
- Create and lead the process to monitor and report, both internally and externally, on GE’s performance against Angolanization commitments
- Liaise with the all the internal functions, in particular Legal, HR, Sourcing and Finance, in ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Angolanization policies
- Thru effective and continuous communication enhance awareness of GE’s Angolanization program within the organization of our customers and government agencies
- Assist the businesses Sales and Projects teams in maintaining competitive advantage in the market place thru effective leveraging of GE’s Angolanization actions

The Project Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manages complex issues within functional areas area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
· Provide project leadership for an organization
· Recommend strategy and direction for projects and support day-to-day implementation
· Implement project requirements consistent with GE business needs
· Coordinate project-related technical requirements with internal and external customers
· Develop cost, pricing, schedule, and risk data and otherwise manage projects
· Manage coordination with internal and external customer planning processes
· Ensure implementation and completion of projects
· Identify and initiate product, component, and technology programs consistent with GE’s business goals and to manage resultant programs
· Identify and develop new business opportunities consistent with GE’s business goals
Qualifications/Requirements: - University Degree. Masters qualification is an added advantage
- Extensive familiarity and experience interfacing with Angolan O&G industry players, including international and local O&G operators as well as government regulatory agencies, particularly ANIP
- In-depth understanding of the Oil and Gas regulatory frame work in Angola, +10 years’ experience in this area
- Expert in the implementation/execution of Angolanization policies

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation and measurement of operating plans and participate in their successful execution

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 8 -10 years finance experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
